At what round do the Premier League clubs enter the Carling Cup?
All of the Premier League clubs not involved in European competition enter the Carling Cup in the second round. The teams who have qualified for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup will enter at round three.

The Carling Cup Final Sleeve Badges are created especially for the finalists shirts and unfortunately, aren't available for sale.

We have regular football ticket competitions during the season, so you are in with a chance!
Do you have details of the prize money involved for winning the Carling Cup?
The prize money is awarded by the Football League - The winners of the Carling Cup win £100,000 and the runners-up £50,000. The losing semi-finalists each take home £25,000.
Does Carling make or sell football strips?
Carling does still sell Football Kits, but only as a full team, not as separates. If you're interested in purchasing a new kit, please call 01623 724482. We have 3 colours available red, white or blue. Each kit contains 1 x goalkeeper kit, 15 numbered player kits (Inc. socks!) and a kit bag. Price around £390.
How many substitutes are teams allowed to name in the Carling Cup?
From the 2008/09 season, clubs will be able to name 7 substitutes in the Carling Cup. This mirrors the new rule being adopted in the Premier League from this season.

What are the rules for UEFA Cup qualification and the Carling Cup Final?
Only the winners of the Carling Cup qualify for the UEFA Cup. If the winners finish in the top six in the Premiership, then the European place moves on to the seventh placed team in the League.
