Cellar Vie is a small and modern drinking den well situated on Alton's pretty Market Square. Seating with tables outside the bar makes a good place to while away the time with a glass of wine and watch the activity in the square. Diners from the pizza restaurant opposite come here for a drink, as do professional locals and the owner's friends. Opening hours are slightly ad-hoc, so it may be worth a walk past first before you decide on making this your only drinking destination.
