Previousyl known as the Merchant Stores, Scruffy Duffys is a popular student venue with a lively atmosphere, which becomes like a club at weekends, it offers a substantial menu and a daily range of drinks promotions. Scruffy Duffys is not one of the 'bright lights' of Broad Street and it is certainly overshadowed by bigger and more sophisticated venues, but it does serve a purpose as an amiable venue where anybody is welcome and everybody feels at home, as such it has a loyal band of regulars.
