Located close to Birkenhead's main shopping area, Yates's is a popular lunchtime spot for shoppers during the week and also attracts a large amount of passing trade. At weekends it transforms into a party venue for a younger crowd, before they head further into town to Birkenhead's clubs. This venue has an imposing position on the corner of the main shopping precinct and now that the interior has been updated, it is a better proposition. The menu provides a wide range of dishes from grills, jacket potatoes and nibbles to share, to sandwiches and wraps, plus more substantial main courses.
