With its own entrance, Cool Room is the sister operation to Ice Bar upstairs and is aimed at a more sophisticated, aspirant crowd. However, due to its location in the midst of the Birkenhead's mainstream clubbing circuit, this is not always possible. A basement club, this venue offers a membership scheme and waitress service and the music policy of mellow, funky soul classics and R&B creates a more relaxed atmosphere, than the party vibe upstairs. In terms of design subdued orange lighting reveals contrasting turquoise and purple walls, a wooden floor, leather booths and bar stools.
