Green Dragon

Description

Although fairly deceptive from the front, The Green Dragon can probably lay claim to being the largest pub in Beverley. This is due to the large distance which the pub stretches backwards and includes a smart beer garden running alongside which is heated and includes the sound system. The front of the venue, being the original shell of the place, is traditional with leather seating. There is some history to the tavern as it claims its own ghost - he is reputed to be a Scandinavian soldier who was executed in the square facing the pub during the 17th century!
