The Beaver public house has a fine old building in one of Beverley's most historic streets. It is unmistakable with its huge display of hanging baskets which almost obliterate its facade and provide a spectrum of colours to the street. Entrance to the pub is accessed by a small lane running alongside the pub and brings the customer face to face with the servery. To the left is a snug-like bar which is decorated traditionally with an old fireplace and pictures of the town, climbing steps to the right the venue opens out into a large seated area.
