The Hobgoblin is an extremely lively pub along Bedford's High Street that has the benefit of a late licence. The decor is fairly limited, but it is unpretentious and relaxing and has everything necessary to keep the student crowd happy. There is a small menu of snack foods that are very appealing to a young crowd who spend hours playing pool and on various games machines. This venue is very busy throughout the week, but excels over the weekend when the music is loud and cheerful and groups of early twenty something's meet to plan their night.
