The Union Rooms, like all other Wetherspoons, is a busy, cheap and friendly pub, with a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of people to talk to. The venue is spacious and light, with three different rooms that attract different sorts of customers, who vary in style and age, from 18 to over 60. Cheap drinks and good food are the main attractions; for example the 'Monday Club' offers selected bottles, pints and wines at just 1.09. However, one of the best qualities of this pub are the friendly staff, who add greatly to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
