Description

The Porter is a pub which has live bands during the week, DJs on Friday and Saturdays and comedy on Sunday. It is spread over two floors on several levels, with a very plain design and bare wooden walls. Despite the simplicity, it is very light and friendly, and unusually for a pub specialises in vegetarian pub grub. It attracts a large variety of customers including a lot of students, as well as older members of the Bath community. They also do special deals for students, with reduced prices on 'Happy Monday', and between 17:30 to 18:30hrs.
