Brown's is just about the largest restaurant in Bath, and certainly offers the biggest outside seating for sultry days. Converted from an old police station with a few old cells still in existence to add to the atmosphere, it overlooks the abbey and is beautifully decorated with high ceilings, gilt framed mirrors and palms filling the cocktail bar. Brown's attracts a variety of people from business people in the nearby town centre to tourists. The food ranges from salads and pasta to larger meals of fillet steak, calves liver or roast suckling pig.
