This Yates's is one of the most popular on the circuit and the pool lounge upstairs usually guarantees a packed pub. It generally appeals to a slightly older custom. This venue is brighter and more modern than the old style Yates's, resembling a bar more than a pub. Set on two levels and with a prominent corner location, the venue is one of the smartest in Barrow. Yates's is one of the only venues in Barrow to serve food all day. The menu is a mix of traditional and more worldly meals and snacks.
