Yates's has an excellent location on Market Hill and is one of the best pubs in Barnsley. Office staff, retail workers and shoppers make up the lunchtime crowd, but at weekends Yates's takes its place on the party circuit and a younger, more vibrant customer takes over. It is now open until midnight on weekends. The good value food and cheap drinks promotions play an important role in the success of this venue. With selected bottles just 1.79 at all times and two puddings for 4.85, the success Yates's has already achieved here is likely to continue for some time.
