The Gatehouse is the update of the the former very battered Chatsworth into an attractive town centre locals pub. It offers the usual range of pub entertainment - live football, juke box, karaoke etc. Customer-wise, older males while away the day with the unemployed and CAMRA buffs, then at nights, weekends and when football is shown it gets more boisterous with a younger crowd and weekend pub-crawlers. Decor-wise it has a traditional warm red colour scheme for walls and carpets, combined with the juke box and clink of pool balls it creates a familiar ambience.
