Chennell's is a charming, rustic-styled, traditional pub that provides good value food and drink, with selected draughts on promotion all day throughout the week. The interior is relaxed and authentic with dark wood, brass, heavy curtains and thick carpeting throughout. The clientele is more diverse than other venues since it happens to be located on Wellington Street circuit and therefore gets caught up in the giant weekend party crowd pub crawl, following on from civic centre staff and shoppers at lunchtimes. Chennell's is an honest alehouse with a modern feel.
