Description

The Blue Dog has the ambience of a chilled and friendly local on the chic Sadler Gate designer retail stretch. It has two contrasting rooms, one a very plush lounge area with carpets and leather sofas and the other has an open fire with a stone floor, bare brick walls, mock gas lamps and roof conservatory feature. Both sides have an abundance of old Derby memorabilia. There's a discreet 'chill-out' soundtrack during the day that gets cranked up at weekends. It hosts probably the oldest crowd on the Sadler Gate circuit with primarily regulars and after-office drinkers.
