The Sound Exchange is a favourite with young locals and students, serving reasonably priced drinks and offering plenty of special nights, including Fridays which offer 1 for all drinks between 20:00 and 22:00hrs. The drinks selection is limited and club prices apply. It is, however, a colourful and funky mainstream club, situated just back off the high street, next door to Red and close to The Exchange pub. It is one of Banbury's destination venues and appeals to both a local crowd and occasional visitors from Oxford.
