Description

The Player is Ashton's busiest, smartest modern bar, and yet it's a sports bar. Unlike the traditional image of a sports bar, this isn't decked out in paraphernalia and is as much a lounge, lunchtime dining and pre-club venue as anything else. The interior has plenty of dark wood, chocolate brown leather furniture, sofas, booths, video jukebox and screens (not all of which show sporting events), plus a separate dance floor/ pool table area. More males are to be found due to the sports coverage, but this is also a comfortable, stylish venue that attracts females and an older crowd.
