Ashton-Under-Lyne, and the whole of Tameside around it, has previously not been home to any of the familiar restaurant brands such as Frankie & Benny's, until now. The standard decor for the chain is present, in a 1950's New York-Italian style, with monochrome photos from that period and place, brown and red colours and booth seating. The chain's menu is also in evidence, featuring as it does pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, burgers and specialities such as pork fillet, steaks and battered cod. The area's twenty-somethings have embraced this restaurant with enthusiasm.
