In among the kebab shops and taxi ranks of the back streets of the city centre, Bugsy Brown's still captures the old essence of Windmill Brae from when it was Aberdeen's pub and clubbing destination of choice. Clinging onto the steep road like the moss on the cobbled street outside, it offers a traditional nightclub experience, with the entertainment spanning commercial DJs, live music and lap dancing evenings. These have a great appeal to wary male singletons and onshore oil workers with tongues firmly in cheek, but has earned the spot a reputation.
