What is Beerfinder? 

Beerfinder is a bar and pub guide that allows users to search for details on over 14,000 venues across the UK. It is possible to search for venues by town/city/district as well as by pub name. Using the advanced search facility you can also find pubs that offer specific services such as Sky Sports / Live Music / Food etc. To start out, visit the Beerfinder home page and start searching for bars and pubs in the UK


How do I add a pub/bar to Beerfinder? 

We'd love to hear from you if you can't find your favourite pub/bar on Beerfinder! All you have to do is take a couple of minutes to fill in the Nominate A Bar form - we'll then do the rest! 


How do I find pubs/bars in my town? 

To find pubs/bars in your town, either visit the Home Page and enter your town/city into the Find A Bar / Pub In The UK section or visit the A-Z of all the town and cities that Beerfinder covers. 


How can I put a venue forward for Bar of the Week? 

Do you know a pub/bar that is so great that it deserves to be named Beerfinder Bar of the Week? If so, we want to hear from you! Just visit the contact us page and tell us the name of pub/bar, where it is located and why it deserves the Bar of the Week accolade. 


Where does the pub information come from? 

The information on Beerfinder is taken from a variety of sources including third party suppliers and direct from the pubs/bars themselves. If you notice something that you feel is incorrect, please contact us and let us know. 


What are the consumer ratings? 

As part of the Beerfinder service, we want consumers to rate the pubs/bars they have visited out of five. The venue's average score is then displayed. To rate a bar, just visit its page on Beerfinder and score it out of five. 


Do all the venues in Beerfinder stock Carling? 

No. Those venues which do stock Carling have a Carling logo on their page.

What is Beerfinder? 

Beerfinder gives pubs and bars the chance to promote their venue by having a free web offering on the UK's biggest beer brand website! 


What are the benefits of having a listing on Beerfinder? 

Your free Beerfinder listing will give people across the UK the chance to see what your venue has to offer when they are looking for pubs/bars in your area! 

That means free advertising to both new and existing customers! 


I'm a manager/landlord - how do I get my free listing? 

That's easy! Just visit the registration page. You'll be asked for basic information and once we have received it we'll send you a username and password through the post. You'll then be free to log-in and customize your page. 

I have registered, why haven't I received my username/password  

We send usernames/passwords out on a weekly basis. If you have been waiting for your username/password for more than 10 working days, please contact us and we will find out why. 

How can I edit the information on my venue? 

Beerfinder uses a variety of data sources on the venues but we want as much information as possible to come direct from the landlords / managers. To take control of the information that appears on your venue, just visit the registration page

Does my venue have to stock Carling to get a listing? 

No. Beerfinder also features bar/venues that do not stock Carling. However, please contact us if you would like to stock Carling - we'd be delighted to hear from you.

What is a consumer rating? 

As part of the Beerfinder service, users are given the chance to rate bars out of five. This is the consumer rating that appears on each listing. The rating which is displayed is an average of all the ratings a venue has received. 


Why are the consumer ratings empty? 

If a venue has not yet been rated, it will be empty. To get ratings, encourage your customers to visit Beerfinder and rate your pub/bar.
